for Long Flat Bacon Products
Our bacon is all produced from Ariel Farm pork and is
tenderly brined and then smoked naturally with manuka
sawdust until golden brown.
Full of that traditional old fashioned bacon flavour.
Moist enough to melt in your mouth and crisps up like
the bacon you thought was history, but have rediscovered.
Middle bacon is produced from the mid loin portion of
the carcase.These are the finest rashers to serve grilled
for breakfast.
Shoulder bacon is great for pies, bacon "butties",
savouries and more...
Streaky bacon is now available - fresh pork loin roasts, plain or stuffed, boneless pork chops, pork fillets, pork mince and pork scotch fillet steaks. And especiallty for the winter months, bacon hocks… |

Our specialty sausages
are all plump and meaty with minimum fat content. Just
enough to sizzle in the pan and to keep in the flavour.
Pork sausages and Chipolatas, (which are ideal for breakfast) are made purely from lean pork etc.
Ruawai "Hackett" sausages made to the "secret" Hackett
recipe, developed many years ago at Hacketts butchery
at Ruawai.
Contain a meat mixture of beef and lamb, mixed with semolina,
and a blend of pepper, ground nutmeg, ginger and mace.
Now available "Old English" Pork Sausages made from a special herb blend and as the mix is based on rice flour, they are "Gluten Free". |

pork fat, blended with a special salami mix and flavourings.
It is cured and then smoked to perfection. Perfect for
platters and snacks. Available as garlic salami or cracked
pepper.
